It was because of this video, i got the new sunroof panel and fiber glass seal holders from Andy, and the seal from golden area... thanks seth for the top notch review!
CRX from 87-91 are the best Hondas ever build , nice to drive easy to fix thats CRX. I love these Cars , I own 4 ED9 and one EE8. Nice Videos to look at , keep going to rebuild these Cars to keep them alive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All the best from Germany ! Best regards from Rudi
I use the cream all the time. My 2002 civic si still has the OEM seals. Almost 20 yrs and the seals have no cracks or dullness. I applied that cream at least once a yr or where needed.
O man, i just love that Car, very cool to see someone that respect a beatifull car like the Crx. Pure 90ts feeling, loving it, brings back memory's..Thanks for that and keep on doing it. Greats from The Netherlands 👊
He was waiting for feedback from me to make any necessary tweaks before beginning production. I give it sometime first quarter next year. Feel free to DM him for any inside scoop.
When I watched your videos, I wanted to make my own CRX better. Now mine is really good, but you have show level! Here in Finland it's really hard to get cheap parts for this car. I used to be interested in Mercedes-benz cars and you can find cheap parts for them here(Finland, germany..) .. CRX parts are 10x more expensive.
I went out and just bought the seal! One question. Am having the car repainted. Had to take off the rear sprayer and gasket which was painted on and bubbling all around. It disintegrated when I removed it. Besides the OEM, is there a rear sprayer nozzle you would recommend?
Seth, thank you for that. Off topic, any recommendations on b series headers for ground clearance on CRXs? I will be using the innovative boxed frame crossmember. However, I still have concerns on clearance underneath. Any advice you have would be welcome thanks
@@crxseth Thanks for the response. But I believe I can get a new roof and weather stripping. But the hardware is what seems to be the problem. Know anyone that makes rails? Or is my hope to get some off a car that's being parted?
If you are working on Honda screws, definitely get yourself a JIS #2 screwdriver or some JIS #2 bits on Amazon. Honda screws are not phillips head screws, which is why typical US market screwdrivers don't fit them so well. The JIS #1 is perfect for Honda key fobs and the #3 is perfect for brake rotor screws (though you may want impact rated for that). Trust me you will notice the difference the first time you use one. Here is a demo video I saw that perfectly illustrates the difference: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-FNiEOLcwWa4.html
We're very interested in your channel! We has a brand new wall-mounted pressure washer to be released. We are thinking if we could have a chance to collaborate to this new product.Hope get your reply!
So glad mine has no Sunroof, Not that I wouldn't like one and there cool opening out over roof, just the rust issues when you have no Garage is a bonus. My mk1 is really bad around sunroof, have another complete one to go in with nos tray and decent panel but even roof inside edge rusting away. Nice Work and Great Colour CRX Black
