This is a 1988 Pontiac Firebird Formula 350 with a 5.7-liter V8 engine. It's just crossed 100,000-miles and is running great, though it's faced some challenges from careless smog testers and bad Toyota 4Runner drivers that have damaged it. But it's been repaired and we will keep driving and enjoying the powerful, torquey V8 and capable automatic that burns rubber going into second gear.
