Dan reacted like a man who’s been there when Andre Waters went for Jim Everette’s knees around the 2:14 mark. Some called that physical-I agreed with Dan-it was just a dirty cheap shot and the kind best taken out of the game. (Though I also hate the current opposite extreme where now you have to ask the QB’s permission to make a routine tackle.)
It was a cheap shot then and it still is today*. I had also seen this play back then when I watched/recorded games for my library and should've kept it. The quality was 10x better than this one. *Joseph (Lions)
@jeffholman8146 Those were good times. Then I got traded to the Raiders. We all had our pregame rituals. Marcus would do a couple of white women. Howie and Matt would hit each other and I would throw up in the bathroom.
