Race Drivin is the sequel to Hard Drivin released in 1989, but Race Drivin has the same hardware and cabinet the only differance is more tracks and i think more cars to choose from, so its still a game from 1989 running on components from the early 80s that was better quality than a Super Nintendo with an FX chip.
This is my favorite arcade game so far, and yes i know i am not 100% accurate on my description of the hardware that runs it. If only this machine wasn't so tall and heavy i would have it in my dad's basement with my other arcade machines.
i plan to replace the capacitors in the monitor board someday and that should fix the video issues.
the main issue with this game is the screeching sound of the tires, pretty much any time you turn slightly the tires screech...even on grass.
