Nice wagon! Not only does it needs tires it needs the correct size tires. Either a 225/75R15 or possibly a 235/70R15. That's a unique steering wheel.

They had a awsome ride. And it was a good over the road car. The only real flaw with this car was the307 was so weak, by all rights it had the Olds 350 engine. Many made the swap. And it became the car you didnt want to stop driving as well. The 350 and that 4 speed automatic was a nice match. And the gas mileage was exactly the same..so it must have been a emissions move on GM's part to put the 307 in that car. Because otherwise they would have just been playing stupid to put the 307 in there when the 350 gave it the right level of power and got the same gas mileage

There’s a old joke about the previous “woodies” But it fits perfectly for this one. The man’s new car was delivered to the house where him and some friends were. After admiring the new car his friends left. The next time they saw the car all the wood had been taken off the car. One of his friends said. “ You know that’s still a nice car. This makes me miss my 1983 Olds Ninety-Eight Regency Brougham sedan, medium blue metallic on blue velour inside. I bought it in 1990 when the car was 6 years old. It had both driver and passenger vanity mirrors. It had the cornering lamps and the hood mounted fiber optic indicators. It had an oversized moon roof, mirrored on the outside for one-way glass. Full power electric seats both driver and passenger. Tilt and telescopic steering column. Lighters in both rear door ash trays. Fluorescent full height opera lights on the door columns outside. The car was loaded to the gills. After a year and a half owning it, it was stolen. Broke my heart. Never saw it again. Anthony, this wagon, all be it not a sedan, is beautiful! I love how it can actually haul full sheets of plywood, drywall, etc. If needed. I would not want to subject such a jewel as this to such rigorous service, but it does show the versatility this car had in the day.

I had an 89 that I bought from the original owner. Same color but w/o the woodgrain. Maroon interior too. It was a sharp car. I regret getting rid of it. I've owned over 100 cars of all types. I honestly can say that my Electra Estate Wagon probably got the most compliments of any car I've owned. Although the 307 was a bit anemic the car was equipped with trailer tow package & most interesting was it had a factory rear sway bar. I personally have never seen another wagon with a rear sway bar.

When I finally got to Eureka Springs, the next day I was going to get a scheduled oil change... I was surprised to find that the pan was BONE DRY! I have no idea how long I ran that car without any oil in it, and it never sounded like it was out of oil. @Dominick Serignese Hiya Dom... Yeah, those 307 were doggy... But they'd run forever! I had a new '90 Estate Wagon that I toured in, playing music around the US and Canada.. I was on a dirt n gravel road somewhere in Missouri, after a gig... Heading toward Eureka Springs, Arkansas. I apparently threw a big, pointy rock up and it poked a small hole in the oil pan. When I finally got to Eureka Springs, the next day I was going to get a scheduled oil change... I was surprised to find that the pan was BONE DRY! I have no idea how long I ran that car without any oil in it, and it never sounded like it was out of oil. But I guess because it was a "roller motor", and presumably a well-built one, it saved me a real headache. Cheers!

This would make an awesome gypsy cab and/or tiny home.
