Various cars built in Japan or North America by subsidiaries of GM World Wide, Suzuki of Japan and NUMMI which was in Freeport California and a 50/50 Joint Venture between Toyota and GM. GEO lasted until 1999, but some of the models carried on as Chevy products into the 2000 decade.

Best car out of the group was the Prizm. The Isuzu/Suzuki clones less so. Back then you could get the Corolla clone for less money/better financing and still have the solid drivetrain of the Toyota. My cousin had one and it was indestructible.

GM had mismanaged their brands and product lines and were thrashing around trying to stop the loss of market share to Asian automakers. Management decided to try creating new ones from scratch so Geo, Saturn that had no baggage. We have the benefit of being able to see how unsuccessful these were since they don’t exist and the Asian brands continued to grow as GM declined.

I thought the Geo Storm was a neat looking little car. I thought about buying one and turning it into a drag car with a small block Chevy, but now an LS would be fun.

NUMMI was in Fremont, not Freeport.

I think it's "Ballsy" to make a comment when it's clear you have no idea what you're speaking about. First, it's not a copy right symbol, it's a Trademark. Two, I have a trademark for my youtube Channel, a logo, a symbol, that's registered in the US Dept of Trademarks and Patents. Three, this is a broad cash channel that produces revenue and income for me. Four, this material is in the public domain!!!!....You have Balls, you need a brain....
