Wow. I skated in those uniforms with San Antonio and Miami that year . But seeing Joan and Ann in them really makes me feel good. Two of the best ever.
Sad too to see any hope of this form of Roller Derby ever coming back either. Most entertaining & I still feel it can be done with less theatrics concentrating more on skating skill. A flat track just doesn't cut it for me. Nor it's current style more of a scrimmage then actually Roller Derby.
