America had such an amazing feeling back then. Oh how I wish we could turn back time . A time when we loved and cared about our country and each other

Wow, 1989. My girlfriend and I got our first apartment, I bought Her a Cougar XR7 turbo coupe and I bought My first cell phone (truck/car mounted-still have it) from Radio Shack Tandy and Sprint was the carrier. You could carry the phone around by putting on the battery pack, removing/unplugging the receiver base and placing in a shoulder bag and plugging in the cord from the handset and screwing on the portable antenna.

What ive noticed a lot about 80s and 90s commercial, especially before the late 90s, they were really calming and relaxing like suave compared to todays boring same comercials

love the 80s... I was born in Dec 1978... and I can say, I love these old commercials! Some I remember, some I don't... but all are nostalgic. These clips take me back to my youth, and I wish they wouldn't. Because nothing else does the trick and transports me back the way these videos do. They remind me of a time when my life didn't matter, and everything didn't have a place on social media.

This is an odd reminder that I didn’t watch TV at all in 1989. I was 18/19, on my own, and wasn’t interested in TV enough to buy one. I remember all the products and have watched all the shows being promoted since. Watch Roseanne pretty regularly now on COSI.

Hey brother thanks for the trip back down memory lane. Don't forget the late night commercials like the 976 and dot com. Those commercials started in late 80s.

I was in 5th grade in 89, and that's about the time we learned the 3 R's in school: Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle

I miss Sears. I hope a commercial with the "I Love What You Do For Me: Sears, Roebuck, and Co." jingle is found.

1989 didn't seem so long ago... until I watched this. One thing that has never changed, however, is just how nauseating commercial advertising is.
