1989 Tyco Real Candy Maker Deluxe Set Demonstration

Today is a long awaited day for me. I have been trying to find this set complete and original and had to wait until I did. This set was near perfect and it was fun to finally make chocolate, licorice candy & gummy bears in two flavors. I have to say, the set worked great and with a small adjustment to my Roto-Molder I was able to make hollow chocolate! I remember it was not the first time making hallow chocolate, but the first time with a cool system like this. I bet kids loved doing this set. The chocolate was horrible! I usually take a small amount, but when I bit into it, a bunch went into my mouth.
This video is intended for parents to help them make an informed decision about purchasing the item shown in the video.

@@zrobeast Hercules Candy They are a mom and pop shop that makes all their candy by hand. The business is over 100 years old. When they first started making videos they were in the basement of their home/shop where the family made candy for nearly a 100 years. Watch those old basement videos first, before you watch them in their new, modern shop. It is truly a family business.

I remember my daughter being about 3 or 4 when we started watching you together. Now she's 8 and we still watch your vids together. Some sets you have are the ones I had growing up in the 90s. I love to teach her about history and how we got where we are today. Her favorite vids are the Easy Bake ones because she has an Easy Bake oven and she loves looking at all of the great things you make in them. You inspire her to be more creative with her oven. I like how long your videos are. They actually show what it's like to use the toy instead of just going over it and then jumping to only some of the steps, or just giving a short overview. I also like how lots of time we are learning the toy together. It's a really fun touch.

Your taffy video was in my suggestions and let me just say this.. You have a fantastic personality! I found myself smiling throughout your videos, and chuckling a few times. I love vintage things, toys, cookers, ect. The last time i watched Lucky Penny Shop was when i was maybe in 4th or 5th grade.. I really enjoyed watching the process of the molds filling up with the gummy mixtures and also watching you remove them. Great video and this set as well as the ice cream set seem to have been really well done for such old pieces! Smart fix with the rubber band though ☺️
