Hello, you are almost done with the drivers seat. You might need the other plastic nylon clip on the right side of the seat also, you will need the rubbery amber colored spacer, get the re-designed that to a plastic piece that is used in later models, that goes on top of where the actuator pin slides left to right. This helps stop the rocking of the seat upward when you slide the seat backwards. Also prevents the metal to metal contact. I always grease the slide rails also. By the way the rear right and left nylon plastic clips are different. One has a tab sticking out the other doesn’t. When you do the passenger seat, get extra nylon clips, they tend to break when getting the seat out. I have three Mk1 Scirocco’s I’m working on. I use to have a 89 Cabriolet. I found another 87 Cabriolet Wolfsburg edition in white in perfect shape, I’m thinking to buy that today. I’m undecided to take on another project, since I’m 68 and it’s harder to work on cars now. You are doing a great job on that cabby. I enjoy watching your videos. Keep posting. Thanks!
