I should point out that the Night Raven drew some inspiration from the movie Firefox which featured a strikingly similar Russian aircraft. Thusly mine could do mach 6 like the Firefox. Firefox also had the rearward firing missiles.
It's funny that you mention the Crusader Avenger drone to attach to Sky Raven. I did that about 3 months ago because I have the Defiant, but not the Crusader. I thought it seemed like the thing to do. And, it's still there. Thanks for mentioning that.
Not sure how someone could already dislike this video if they haven't watched in in its entirety (you uploaded it only 4 mins ago). Sky Patrol haters or jealous people~
Love all your content sir. As a kid I got most of my joes from garage sales. This meant they never had all their accompanying gear or vehicles. So cool to hear about their back stories and see all their gear.
great review, as always :) I winced when I saw you attach the drone though, I thought it might scratch off the chrome... we appreciate the lengths you go to, to demonstrate all the features for us... :)
excellent coverage of an awesome sub team i hope to find a good condition sky raven soon to finish off my collection. Your sample is pretty good in my opinion and I cant wait to see whats next!
Hey Kevin. Have you given any thought to reviewing the PS4 game Toy Soldiers: War Chest? Simply because it let you battle with G. I. Joe and Cobra. And it utilizes the figures and vehicles from the '80's line.
I recently started restoring a Sky Raven that I picked up cheap on eBay. I was curious about the color of the missile pods and the pull tabs for the bomb bay and landing gear. In the video Kevin's look like they're a dark grey color but on mine the pull tabs are more of an army green. Is it a color variant or just the camera playing tricks on my eyes?
I do wonder about chrome quality myself. I have the European releases and the chrome coating on the Sky Hawk seems to be weaker than the one on the other 3 vehicles.
After seeing those parachute pack bags so many times before I skipped that part of review with good mind. At this point that had become so repetitive that it had become that one only bad thing about this whole review series.
