Honestly, probably the greatest thing to happen to Duke. It’s been all roses and lollipops since 1990-91, and UNLV was destroyed by the NCAA afterwards, and have NEVER been the same since. Also Tark is the only coach to ever sue the ncaa and win. Viva Las Vegas.
I loved UNLV and hoped they had gone back to back in championships. That would have been cool. Tark actually became the coach of my hometown college team in the mid 90’s. His teams of my hometown college team would fill the stands at the local arena as a ticket would be hard to come by in town. Since those days the arena hasn’t been the same since. May Tark the Shark rest in peace.
