Trams in Amsterdam, Holland on a wet Sunday. It did not rain all the time, but the entire day was dull and at times the rain was heavy.
Also seen in this film are tram and traffic signals, some cyclists and a track maintenance vehicle in action.

Lucky bastard! Seeing a rail-cleaner is already a rarity these days, let alone in the 90's!

I like seeing the bi-level trams in their old livery. ever since they made them blue and white they're kinda dull.

The rate at which those traffic signals cycle through their phases is amazing. There's an intersection near my home in suburban New Orleans whose signal takes a full 75 seconds to go through a single cycle.

I think you will find that in many cases I shortened tie cycles.

Look closely and you will see he used almost overlapping fades to shorten the cycles. The lady with the umbrella in the bottomview is hard to see, but fade slightly to the right.
