When you could actually drive around town.. Good times.

Fantastic time capsule. Recognise so many places and landmarks. City and Badger Line buses, the Hippodrome, John Lewis, Avon House North as it was known then, Whitefriars, a glimpse of the harbour... and crystal clear quality and at night too. If that was done on a VHS camcorder I would be very surprised, the quality is too good. 👌

'Five Guys Named Moe' was on at Bristol Hippodrome in November 1994, so I presume this was filmed then.

Before the internet , mobile phones, online dating, traffic calming, net zero, store closures. People all went out and actually met each other.

Lived in Bristol from 1981 - 2018 and its really gone down the drain in the last 15+ years or so, maybe more. Full of trendy people from London and I just did not relate to it in the end, glad we left in 2018 for South Wales.

Ah man, the month of my fourth birthday ! My parents would have been getting the decorations out, the smell of the christmas tree, id love to go back just for a few hours
