Barry and the 8-4 Lions look to pull even with Mike Singletary and the 9-3 Bears atop their division, in a huge NFC Central battle on Thanksgiving Day.
I really, REALLY miss those days where I could watch Madden and Sumerall call any Barry Sanders-era Thanksgiving Day games. RIP John Madden, and thank you for inspiring what is perhaps the most famous video game franchise that may ever exist.
You answered my prayers sir .I've been looking for this game forever and you put it up. Have a great day wherever you are and take care of yourself. Your channel is a god send for posting REAL FOOTBALL GAMES like these ones back in the day. THANK YOU
few minutes into this ,.. remembered where I watched this game ,who I had Thanksgiving with that year , and just good memories , like a time machine driven by John Madden..🏈
The best player in the Thanksgiving day game is supposed to get a turkey leg as an award. Not a "Galloping Gobler", or something corny like that. Just a damn turkey leg.
@@frankiesacco oh man, that's AMAZING. I had that game (as well as others from the Sanders era), but lost the tape years ago. It's one of my favorites. Wow, is there anything I can do in return?
i guess the only thing i would ask is if you have any games of your own you could share? i collect anything and am always up for a trade lol. no problem if not - i'll have the video up shortly
happy Thanksgiving to you as well dude. btw, don't know if you're still looking for '92 Bills/Jets, but here's the link: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-_VNq700jbjM.html
I remember this game as well and watching it at my grandmas for lunch. We use to have two thanksgivings. One lunch at my dads mom and one evening at my moms mothers place with our cousins. I remember the fight with ditka and his players.
man this was the end of the bears dominating the division for like 7-8 seasons maybe? 84-91? its so crazy they never won like 3 super bowls mainly cuz of jim mcmahon being injured and they had shitty backups
Was this the season AFTER their win over the Cowboys in the playoffs? This says 1991 so my first guess is yes, as playoffs currently spill into the following year, I'm assuming this was no different
@@DukeofGames50 No this is the season they beat Dallas in the playoffs. They beat Dallas in January 1992. This is the 1991 season. So, when people talk about the last playoff win being 1991, they really mean the 1991 season.
