2:33 took me a second to realize what this was. Then it hit me. It’s basically a revolving muffler set up. Pick the sound you wanna use for that day. Go loud AF or a toned down grumble. . Just give it a twist! LOL so ridiculous and awesome Exhaust sounds awesome on the NSX!

The car is inspired by a nonproduction collaboration car done by Honda and Pininfarina, an Italian automotive design company. It makes sense why there’s an Italian air to it.

@@devinjean5331 how the heck did I not know Pininfarina was involved?! Of course, now you mention it its totally obvious, you can see some of their style in there, but somehow I didn't know that. I knew it had an italian flavor from is original intention to compete with the italian brands, and of course only the italians were really making mid-engined supercars in the late 80's and early 90' (beyond the odd limited run from Jag or Porsche) so they were the only starting point to build off, but I hadn't realised how close the links were. But then, I'm no Honda guy and certainly no expert!

Great collaboration with the guys from Magnaflow the exhaust looks and sounds great . I'm just wondering why you guys didn't incorporate the Magnaflow high flow catalytic converter. There already creating a full one off system I feel you might as well have went all the way .

This is great! You're doing with rhe NSX what you're doing with the Stang, but in reverse - injecting a little American muscle flair to a JDM car. Love it!

That exhaust sounds incredible, but we need to hear some passes in VTEC! Also, those exhaust valves need adjusting. Even with the new exhaust, I could hear them. Honda guys know what I'm talking about.

The smoke is usually from all the new oils and stuff on the pipes. From the machines, packaging, their hands etc.

always loved Magna flow they have been my go to exhaust for years when I was running my muscle cars be it in my 68 dodge charger R/T with the 512 hemi with dual exhaust or my 73 road runner with the 440 six pack the sound has always been great the deep rumble when you fire those beast up sent chills down my spine.

Don't forget that with a bit of driving.. soot will get rid of higher pitch note and it will get a much deeper sound

To have that connection with the Magnaflow R. and D. department is quite the treat! That exhaust looks and sounds great but it seems like the old girl is smokin a bit though... Those valve seals are a bit worn out I would say. Still a sick car none the less. I would take it in a heartbeat... Great video!!

it's not suppose to sound that raspy especially off throttle. I own a NSX and that's not the sound you want... The exhaust looks awesome but soundwise is a bust.

@@JohnNguyenVincent Yeah its not *"BAD"* per se. But I was expecting (and hoping for) more of a rev-happy traditional import sound. I guess it's cool having something different, and I'm sure they're all getting great deals working with Magnaflow. Being a modular setup maybe they'll change some things around in the future, look for better tone...?

Hard for a 90° V6 to sound good but this definitely sounds better, if you really want to wake it up you need to install headers as the stock manifolds are the restrictive log type, just horrible!

Honestly preferred a twin double exit style on this... specially with the square shape of the exhaust exits. Sounds sick though!

You guys have a good taste of cars and the mods are simply exceptional and ethical. In India modification is illegal. We can't even install cool film to our cars, cops fine us huge sum of money even though those aftermarket fittings we purchase include 18% tax. To purchase CBU cars we have to pay 100% import duties and 20% road tax. These rules really sucks. JDM cars remains in our dream can't experience those engineering.

Sounds great !! I hope is doesn't sound like an angry bee in a beer can at 60 rolling down the highway. Loud pipes might save lives but 2 hours of that buzzing and you don't want to drive the car for a week

We have been running MF exhausts on our NSXs since 2000. I ran them on my 91 with Ti test pipes....

I'm jealous...when i wanted MF to make me a cat-back exhaust and X-pipe in 3" for a 99-04 mustang cobra they said they couldn't do it😔 I've been up on and using MF products since they first showed up in Super Street Magazine. MF is on all of my vehicles I've owned except my motorcycle. good job on the NSX, sounds dope💪
