This is K's quietest flushing "show" terlit. My folks got the round bowl one for the half bath in the family room because when they entertained guests, everyone heard the old terlit flushing, even with the door closed. I heard their complaints about having to flush this type multiple times. I also think with such a weak flush, they should have spun the water CCW for the Coriolis effect boost.
I wonder if that … WOULD Have had any bowl rinse if the siphon jet’S Clogged (or if that … WOULD Have done any better [on the dirt test] if the siphon jet’S Cogged).
It is an absolutely horrible design. The bowl rinse is only powered by a small plastic hose that comes out of the fill valve. It is not connected with the jet on the side so clogging that would mean the tank doesn't drain at all and it wouldn't flush.
@@OCC_Plumbing_and_Restorations I just rewatched BTR's testing on a round Rialto, I was thoroughly surprised. Without properly working tank parts no less
These lowboy's are an interesting design concept but poorly executed in reality. The flush is incredibly weak but also very quiet (which is a 'Plus Point'). Took the washcloth easily which is a good thing but it is the ONLY item this toilet can take (other than normal tp). Bowl rinse is literally 'Non-Existent' (on par with the Zero Bowl rinse 1 Gal Pressure Lites - which is another poor toilet from Kohler) and it takes two flushes to fully clear the bowl 👎 *I do admit myself that Glacier Bay's do have a better flush than this!!! Another 'Plus Point' is that these toilets are virtually impossible to overflow even when hard clogged (unless the fill valve is faulty and won't shut off as you did a test on that at the end by simulating a fill valve stuck open). Not impressed overall by this San Raphael toilet so I will give this a 3.5/10 and the only reason that this gets .5 (half a point) higher than the worst performing (and build quality) Glacier Bay's because this will not flood your bathroom (or powder room) floor if it does get clogged in normal circumstances otherwise this would be .5 lower than those (at 2.5/10)!
I've seen toilet manufacturers pull off this design before. Toto made a good one which doesn't surprise me at all because Toto seems to know what they're doing.
Flush: Slow as a 🐢 but very interesting and not very good Washcloth: pass 😀 Grocery bag: Failed horribly 😞😞😞 Attempt 2: Fail 😞 quite pathetic Washcloth grocery bag together: Failed miserably 😞😞😞😞 Dish towel: fail 😞 Dirt test: fail 😞 Bowl rinse: Very pathetic 😞😞😞😞 Dye test: fail 😞 Final result: Not very good 😔😞😔😞 Very funny that you purposely clogged it and hilarious how it overflowed 🤣
