And the foreign players back then sucked ass too, when a rare one would slip through and get to the NBA they’d average like 5-7 ppg on 42% shooting, nowadays you got teams in other countries that have starting 5 Olympic teams that are all comprised of NBA players who average double digit ppg, and a couple more 4-7 ppg guys from the NBA on the bench. The teams the Dream team faced in 1992 would get whooped by 15-20 points against any top 100 HS team in the US, and would probably lose by about 25-40 points against any D1 college team in the US, bc they were small, not athletic, and in awe of their opponents. The new generation has size and athleticism and aren’t in awe of this current team bc 68-70% of them play em 2-5 times a season.
