The HBCU Madness film link! fawesome.tv/mo... We didn't have enough cameras to document all the fine women of the 1992 Hampton University Homecoming! #therealhu #tbt #divine9 #freaknik #hbcu #hamptonuniversity #blackcollege
I was 14 years old in 1992. This is a natural and sophisticated as I remember. No one wanted to look like a drag queen; that looked stayed within that group. Now everyone wants to look like a contestant on RuPauls Drag Race, I despise it.
Forget the blond wig. No weaves, fake lashes, fake nails or 2/3rd of the body showing. Just beautiful brown people enjoying being themselves. Thank you for this - brings back many fond memories. Very happy to be a part that era. ❤
Nice flashback to that era. The styles were different. Beautiful faces with minimal makeup and hair of different lengths. Having a a cute haircut was it! I stayed at the salon to keep my curls bumped and hair cut neat.
They wore some weird colored hair back then, but it is not as prevalent as it is now. Also, most of the women wore their real hair because relaxers were very popular during that time. Our hair easily sweats and returns to its natural state.
The 90s was definitely the birth of the B.A.P.s. era, which gave way to all the debauchery we have now. That was the birth of the wild-colored hair. So I'm not going to view it with Rose Colored Glasses. But yes it wasn't out of hand, like today.
No Offense to Women Nowadays or the Younger Generation but Women back in Days were just Naturally Beautiful ❤! No BBL'S they weren't Rocking a Bunch of Tattoos or too much Makeup
Are you on college campuses today??? All the women I see are very classy still. Or are you judging an entire generation of women off what you see on instagram?
@@prestonpfeiffer I appreciate what you are trying to do here, you're not being honest with yourself though. I can only think of a recent HBCU Langston University in Oklahoma vs this video. We are simply in a different time, they are not the same.
@Black_Life_Films Umm..how many women in their early 50s are great grandmothers?!. I was there in 1992, 51 now, not a grandmother and neither are my friends. Those with kids have teenagers or college age children.
I was 19, in the Marines and was leaving Cali heading to North Click...had homies from Ny to Miami and went to most major cities on the East Coast "swoopin" for chics like these😂😂😂🎉🎉my favorite city was Norfolk and all those little cities around it, man, Military Circle and the Black Beaches were chic city, my man Rosen took care of me whenever we hit Norfolk, another city people slept on was Wilson North Carolina, Wanda, aka Cookie...i messed up, stoll wonder what could of been if i didnt try to be Mister with you, still regret that $hit 33 years later😮
Man, if a picture is worth 1,000 words, then videos are worth 1,000 dollars. The 1st videos I put on my channel all came from a VHS tapes. 30 years from now I don't think any body is going to be saying " 2020 to 2030 was the best years of my life. " because since covid everything has gone downhill.
