6v 92 Detroit diesel-powered engines with the v731 Allison automatic transmission that's the best and only combination ever for those who don't know tmc means transportation manufacturing corporation they take over the rts for those who don't know rts meant rapid transit series from 1987-93 after GMC started it first in 1974 as a prototype and then they went in production in 1977-87 from T8J206 to the T80206 and then nova took over in 1993 and buyout the tmc bus company then the nova made the same buses as the T80206 they came with the Cummins diesel or caterpillar diesel engines and the dd series 50 engine with a b500 Allison automatic transmission because both GMC &TMC both came with the 6v 71 and 92 Detroit diesels with the v730 or v731 Allisonautomatic transmissions
