@@paulabengui5762 Did you watch the video before making a comment? The Vehicle got a full (just about) factory restoration from Toyota themselves for a whapping $28k. The seller didn't even mention it on the auction sheet. Someone screwed up or someone is very wealth and didn't care to bother. With the auction info at hand the buyer definitely paid way less then $28k. And that's not including the initial value of the vehicle either. An absolute steal now a days. The "cheap as hell" ones you are referring to are not fully factory restored diesel examples.
@@paulabengui5762 thanks for letting us know you're clueless. This one received a complete restoration from Toyota that cost 28k. The "cheap as hell "ones in other countries didn't.
Nice one, electric winch was common on these! Seen many and drove! One sweet ride, engine! The new owner is so lucky! Over fenders and wheels I would change to original if it was mine!
Some people really like the fact that the steering is on a different side from normal, it's a very personal preference. Like how a lot of German luxury cars in Japan are LHD even though Japan is RHD.
i dont get the hype. basically an overpriced lada niva. old jalopy for doing farm work in the field. nothing luxurious about it whatsoever. waste of money to pay colector prices for it
To each their own but the Lada Niva is a terrible car made by people that don't know how to make cars and from materials that no car should be made out of. Don't get me wrong, I love them and I have owned one but that's like saying that McDonalds is a 3-star Michelin restaurant.
