Again the same model year Escort here in the states was front wheel drive ugly bumpers and not a big fan base. I never understood why Ford & GM felt we in the states had to settle for boring small cars and drive the Chrome Valor barges down our throats. Good job!

You brits love the fords, I’ve always seen them as cheaply made and not properly engineered cars just like vauxhall, but those 2 brands were always the U.K.,s no 1 and 2 best sellers, the mind boggles.
