1993 Ford F150 Lightning walk around and test drive [4k] 

2585 of these Ford Lightnings were produced in 1993. This one has stood the test of time, and shows and drives like new. It is mechanically in excellent shape. All electronics work as they should. The 351ci Powerplant has plenty of power to get you moving. The Lightnings tall 4.10 axle ratio really helps with acceleration. In 1993 The Ford Lightning was only offered in 2 colors, Black or Red. This is the owners personal truck, we originally had this Lightning listed for sale 2 years ago with 104K miles, he fell in love with it and kept it as a second vehicle. Throughout his ownership he rebuilt the top end (as a precaution), as the water pump was leaking he decided to do all the gaskets up top. It now has 111K and all of the work listed below was done within the past 2500 miles.
Interior:
The Interior is in Excellent condition, all electronics and gauges operate as they should, all the seat bolsters are in great shape and they really hold you in place. All the door cards and arm rests are like new. The Carpet is free of any stains, and the dash has no imperfections. This Lightning still houses the factory radio, and it sounds great. A/C is ice cold and works very well.
Exterior:
Exterior is in great shape! I would rate the paint a 7-10 with minor scuffs and very small imperfections. Bed and Cover are in excellent condition, This car is stored inside and you can tell with how good the gaskets look. The Engine bay looks like new, and all Gaps are even. Overall the exterior is in very very good condition. It has the optional Dealer Tube Bumper and it looks like new, along with a custom side exit exhaust with stainless tips.
Drivetrain:
These Motors are indestructable! The 351 Powerplant has no hesitation and has been meticulously maintained. The Idle is smooth and the Transmission shifts firmly through the gears. It looks like new underneath, There is NO rust on this truck. All accessories operate as they should and there are zero overheating issues. Both Fuel tanks operate correctly. Rear end is nice and tight. Suspension feels like new. Essentially if you want a New 1993 Ford Lightning to drive every day this is the Truck for you. Take a look at the photos and video and make a decision for yourself. Top end overhaul was done at 109K miles, only reason for this was the water pump was leaking, so as a precautionary measure the heads were pulled and sent to get resurfaced, and all new Motorcraft gaskets and associated components were replaced, we have photo documentation of the process in our gallery.
