Such a pity that Beattie couldn't stay with honda. I reckon his career would have ended up being so much better IMO.

Shame his career was ruined by injuries in 1994 and 1996, though he had a pretty good season in 1995.

@@TrickyMario7654 yeah. Losing the toes on one of his feet was pretty gruesome. I can't really remember but I think one of his last injuries was to his head wasn't it? From memory, that's the one he never really recovered from and lost his confidence.

Wayne Mitchell Yeah, I think the head injury occurred at Paul Ricard in 1996. Caused him to miss a good majority of that season.
