@MagnusPrimeE1 yeah, plus it would help with organizing all the wiring. I have a bunch of spices to remove from whoever put a aftermarket radio in it.

i just did this to mine and honestly its not an awful job. it takes a full day, maybe two, and you definitely need new hardware like the video says. check out 3000gt restoration page for step by step dash removal instructions. while youre in there check for any weird wiring, dash bulbs, and loose bolts
