Fun fact - the Bulls kind of originated the “Lineup of Death” the warriors used, because Steve Kerr played against and also played in it. First 3 peat they would go Grant at C, Pippen at PF, Jordan at SF and then two snipers (Paxson and Hodges or Paxson and Armstrong) and in the second 3 peat they would put Rodman at C (he once held Shaq to 0 points in a half and Shaq was pissed) Kukoc at PF, Jordan at SF, Kerr at SG with Pippen running the point for stretches. People thought they were nuts until it worked. Most people don’t know Rodman averaged almost 30ppg in college, he could score when he wanted to. He just thought defense and rebounding were his bread and butter. Teams today would have trouble defending those lineups so you can imagine how they ran them off the floor in the 90s and won a lot of games.
No one ever talks about how suffocating the bulls defense was. You have 2 of the greatest wing defenders in history and then solid defenders like grant and scott Williams. Bulls gave every team trouble in the finals.
