I wonder where they are now. I hope they weren’t destroyed (although that is a likely outcome). As a HUGE Ren & Stimpy fan and an animatronic enthusiast, this is really cool!
I wish whoever recorded the video focused more on the Stimpy animatronic as well. It's a really cute looking Stimpy even if his muzzle looks dirty as hell and it kinda resembles his design in APC.
Yeah, it's that weird fur fabric stuff that's meant to look brighter, but always comes up looking dark grey. I think it's to do with how light hits it or something? I could be wrong. 😅 I've seen it elsewhere, but I'm not sure where.
If I remember correctly, there's more footage of this on RU-vid somewhere. I think it was in a home video recording of the store. I don't remember much other than that though.
The Stimpy looks kinda like his normal self but Ren looks nothing like his usual self, like they couldn’t find something for his ears so he just did nothing
with the weird looking audio animatronics, disturbing cartoon it was based off of, old VHS look here and the, shall we say, less than stellar past of the show's creator this has all the makings of a potential creepypasta or horror story
I like this kind of candid retail history. I wonder where these animatronics are now. Either scrapped for parts or miraculously intact in someone's private collection, I'd imagine.
I wonder this type of thing too. Maybe whoever has them added ears. Its stuff like this that makes me go "huh.. this is weird/funny, let me hold onto it forever... maybe there will be a RU-vid video about it years later" xD
@@roland_the_cursor I hope someone would add ears. 😆 Typically people who own these things have the means to restore them. Odd that Ren's ears are missing, though. You should check out the collectors who maintain old *Chuck E. Cheese/Showbiz Pizza* animatronics. They're practically wizards.
FNAF didn't frighten me. I thought I loved cute cuddly animal themed animatronics. I stand corrected. That Ren is nightmare fuel. Why do his eyes move like that??? Why does he have no ears??? Thanks, I hate it lol.
To be fair it's Ren.. His design is so overly cartoonish it's difficult to properly convey in 3D form, not to mention he's so expressive his look changes every other frame. Stimpy's likeness is a lot easier to capture and it's generally more consistent than his buddy's.
That is, without a doubt, the worst looking animatronic I have ever seen. Who took a look at this and thought it was okay to put in a children's toy store?!
