I had this castle growing up. Along with the pirate ship and the Robin Hood forest. Mom sold it in a yard sale many years ago. Here I am 30 years old with 3 year old twin boys and just bought the castle and the pirate ship and gave it to them for their birthday. They absolutely love it. I’m having just as much fun as they are playing with the set :)
You & I are in the same boat my friend, living vicariously through our children! I’ve collected almost all the Great Adventure sets for them! More videos of the other sets to come!
Ahh so nostalgic. Everytime I took a bath I took the castle, and since I was very influenced by movies like Titanic and Poseidon, I had so much imagination and enjoyed watching the water rising up and the castle sinking while playing with the figures trying to survive 😅
Probably my favorite toy set by far. I had a bunch of addons too like the fire & ice knights. Wore the heck out of them all to the point where they all had scratches, joints that no longer have friction, and some broken weapons, and I was generally rough on my toys either. That's just how much I enjoyed these. Oh yeah, and I had the computer game too that complemented the set (not included!)
I got one of these as a kid from a school fair - my mum was helping run it, so I was there before most other kids and managed to snag this castle before anyone else could lay a claim, and I felt sooo jammy about it! Didn't have most of the toys with it, but I think it had a couple of boulders. I spent hours and hours playing games with that castle, thank you for making this video!
Haha I was sad when this vid ended, would've loved to hear descriptions of the inside of the castle, the dungeon pit and the climbable footholds on the outer wall. Love your vibes here!
Man I had this set. My two older twin brothers had the pirate set and cowboy set. We would set up and play every day back in the late 90s. Such good times. Do you have the cowboys and pirate sets?
My mom got me one of these for a dollar at a garage sale and I played with it for years practically not stop. And to this day she still calls it the best dollar she ever spent.
Bob Gans Thank you my Man, I just bought the Indian Village that goes along with the Fort Dakota set look those up. I haven’t watched all the parts yet but I will!
I have the castle and 2 gold knights with the table and all balls it use to be my older brothers and I just found it in the attic I rennet I used to play with it all the time I used to used the tower with the gate as a jail
Mr Socks My King’s have died in battle in the bravest way possible. Since this video I’ve recruited purple knights and a Wizard that were sold separately to go with this castle!
Yes! It has small notches on either side.. they fit into small grooves on the inside of the two towers the cannon sits in between. Don’t be afraid to give it some force to pop it back into place !
@@fred4735 hi! I saw that i couldn't fit it because i hade the wrong canon, the one thats all black. Everything is fine now! Thanks fot he great video you should do one with th pirate ship!
