The league had 28 teams at the time. *AFC East, AFC West, NFC Central,* and *NFC East* all had five teams each. *AFC Central* and *NFC West* had four each.
no 49ers got it right, how can you say that younger was very great qb and young won seasons mvp's and a Superbowl. you making it sound like Steve young was an avg qb or something.
The 49ers would have gotten so much for young on a trade. If Montana went down you would have Bono. From what I understand the 49ers said that young was the starting qb and Montana couldn't compete for the job so Montana asked to be traded. Then they started to flip flop.

....we kinda just paid attention to the games. The periodic scores, stat updates, down & distance, etc. where fine if you watch the game. It also helped we did not have the attention span of a toddler back in the olden days of 1994. Fantasy football has not turned a team game into an individual one yet. Short answer, we managed. Also, it was kinda awesome, IMO. Just my 2 ¢ents. Hope it helped
