1995 BPR Global GT - Pure Sound - Montlhery - McLaren F1 GTR - Ferrari F40 GTE 

What people doesn't know, Ferrari F40 LM was faster than McLaren F1 GTR LM. At LM 1995, Ferrari F40 was the first in qual in GT1 class.

​​@bjmicha3ferrari iba a correr en GT1 con el F50 si al final completo 3 chasis F50 GT1...pero el problema en parte fue que porsche y mercedes usaba literalmente prototipos y eran siluetas de los autos de calle y ferrari iba a usar un auto de calle como el F50 ,claramente estaba en desventaja....y no iba fabricar prototipos.

They are not faster than the McLaren F1.. didn't see any in this race, but these are not the same cars, that were in the Le Mans GT category. They were incredibly fast down the Mulsanne

Yeah, but it ran 750hp compared to F1's 600hp. Anyways that made it fuel thirsty, unreliable and all that so it still lost to GTRs.

Venturi LM400

Venturi Atlantique.. it too had a outing at Le Mans, and was respectable in pace, but I do believe both cars failed to finish

Unless it's the F40, that comes into the pit and retires. Has Pilot as sponsor on the side

I would have guessed a SARD MC8-R at first glance, but alas an even more obscure race car was the VBM 4000 GTC; it definitely took design cues from both the Mercedes CLK-GTR and McLaren F1 GTR (as well as the front screen of a GT40)

Fastest GT1 that year but nor reliable.

They were not faster than the McLaren.. and also terribly complicated and exotic design for a race car. But they looked good
