How did you KNOW which spark plug wire to connect and to which order to connect to the distributor cap then back to the spark plugs ???? I APPRECIATE and THANK YOU for responding in advance!!!!
@@sethskrt728 that actually sounds fun, I might look into it... I am looking at replacing the motor soon too, but I'm going to do a compression test before I do it
great video. super helpful. would you recommend getting underneath for all work on the number four plug? sounded like that was the hardest to manipulate. have a 95 f150 and love the videos of betty!
good stuff man. I'm with you on not really being a people person. using this video when my plug, wire, cap and rotor upgrade kit and k&n filter comes in this week for my 89 bronco 5.0
@@bettythe95bronco57 gapped the plugs to .055 and advanced the timing a bit and put a hotter ignition coil. runs like bat out of hell. well a fat bat out of hell.
I've got a 96 Ford I've had it about 20 years 205,000 mi. And now it appears I need a new distributor little deeper than plug wires and so forth for me. Wish me luck Denver Colorado
I have a 1995 F150 Eddie Bauer Ext Cab 4x4 with the 5.0 that has been experiencing shuttering issues while feathering the accelerator anywhere between the 35-50 MPH range. I initially thought it was the universal joints/transmission/and or transfer case but I'm going to be tackling this much needed tune up and hopefully it'll fix the shutter/transmission like/misfire issues I've been experiencing.
@@bettythe95bronco57 It helped it from happening so frequently but it's still there. I'm going to change the transfer case oil and the transmission oil. If that doesn't solve it I guess new universal joints?
@@thehonestpolitician6 my 93 did the same exact thing you’re describing. What fixed mine was my o2 sensor but obviously being speed density it relies on that more. Have you tried cleaning maf?
good stuff though, i suggest shooting the vid, using the video without audio and scripting it before uploading if you're concerned about the way you're speaking!
