This guy is the man!!! I watched all 7 of his videos and I replaced both upper and lower intake manifold gaskets for less than $200, instead of $1000 plus. I had no clue how to do this job, but just what the automotive dealer said what the problem and cost would be. YOU TUBE is the life and money saver!!! Thank you very very much.

I have a '93 buick that im redoing the intake on and this series of videos has been very informative step by step. Strange that every video is identical to what im seeing on my own motor even down to all of the ports being dirty except the last on the left, must be a common problem with the upper intake gasket on this motor

The 98 model is very similar, there are some differences but this video can be used as a general template for the job.

Hi, we do not have a heater core video at this time. It is quite a big job on that vehicle, the entire dashboard and instrument panel has to be removed from the video. Search youtube for "Heater Core Replacement" and Cooper Lake Automotive has a good video on a heater core on a VW Passat that also had to have the dash removed, that will give you an idea of whats involved.

Mine feels like a harder plastic than what my friend has on his 3800 plus mine has no hidden bolt arrow on it like the stock manifolds all I really see on it is 2 circles with number in them. they point to certain numbers my guess is the day and month they were manufactured. but could be a batch number too

They all do it. Series 2 also. It goes in conjunction with the lower intake manifold gasket. Big problems if it's left alone.

Did a smoke test. had smoke coming out of a vacuum tee and the egr tube going into the intake. big leak there.

awesome!! finding it is the hard part most of the time, now you know what to fix, smoke machines are awesome and almost a requirement for the last 25-30 years or more

@@APDTY Haha I didnt use a smoke machine though. I just took a Dab and blew the smoke in through the Power Brake booster line LOL. It did the trick though. Even cheaper than the $7 rig u can make from harbor freight with a cigar and pump. Also In doing this I didnt have to remove much at all. Just unclipped EGR Hose from the quick-connect type deal, and unbolted it, slid another O ring on around the plastic bit where i suspected it to be leaking and now I have no leaks there!!

EGR tube for 1995 Buick LeSabre..... Where can I find a replacement tube - or fabricate one - for my 1995 Buick LeSabre, VIN L engine? I broke the tabs on the twist-in fitting at the top.

Hi, this is going to be really helpful as I have exactly this engine (I'm in europe so it is not so common here haha). I'm wondering, what was/were these intake manifold leak(s) symptoms ? I'm having rough idle and stumbles on acceleration and everything is pointing a vacuum leak that I can't find. cheers

I have a 1999 buick regal with a 3800 series 2 non supercharged engine how would I figure out if the manifold was ever changed I bought the car and the original owner passed and his son had no idea what he had done to it.

Those cable that come out of the EGR .... I need them replaced where they connect to the engine. What are they called?

OK, I how a question.. How do I repair or where can i find a engine vacuum hose?? I have went to Buick, Autozone, Napa, advance auto parts none of them have this hose!! The rubber pieces have cracks and air is coming out.... Thanks

you can just ask for bulk vacuum hose and they have it but probably don't realize it. It just comes on a spool and you cut off what you need, just match the diameter to your by either bringing in a little old piece or measuring it.

C Wilson I realize my response is a few years old; however, I am still going to answer it for other folks. I too have a 1994 LeSabre, which I bought brand new. During this 25 year period, I have found the best place to get parts (especially hard to find parts) is simply the junk yard.

my 94 lesabre blew the valve seals at around 220 k but i think the manifold gaskets where the big problem. wish i had of seen this vid before i got rid of it! i have a 98 regal now and my abs light serrvice vehicle light and security light kept coming on in the last 2 days and its been raining non stop. i think it may be a corroded or shitty wire on my wheel sensor??

Im trying to take apart my Intake manifold so I can replace the Head Gaskets and I was wondering how I should go about doing it with out having to go to a shop.
