A fair price... if the head bolts were replaced and there is verifiable paperwork to prove it. If not, it's worth about $4,000.

It still has about 70-80k miles before they blow up, so the next owner has enough time to save for the repair or even better for the Northstar performance fix kit.

@@Lianpe98 the 1995s were blowing the head bolts as early as 35,000 miles. You could get lucky and hit 100,000 miles before it starts leaking, but gambling on the bolts failing where it is not too inconvenient and not doing any additional damage (like cracking the head through the valve seat) is something most buyers don't want to do. If you have one, love it and intend to keep it forever, it would be better to do the fix kit as soon as possible instead of waiting for it to fail.

@@georgeford6056 service your coolant regularly and don't drive like a teenager. These cars do have head bolt issues but there are also many with 200,000 miles with the original bolts.
