@@jihadiijoe really? I guess I haven’t checked the price on these in a while. I know W220 S600/CL600s pre 2003 are pretty cheap though, and they have the same engine as the old W124 S600

I love these cars!💖 I've owned a 1995 S420, 1997 S420 and a 1999 S500 over the years. Each car came with 4 keys. 2 remote controls with folding master keys, 1 valet key (allows valet to unlock drivers door and drive) and 1 flat key (a master to open all locks and drive). Did you know, if you have all the windows and moon roof open after you park you can hold down the lock button on your remote and the car will roll up all windows and close the moon roof as you're walking away? You can even roll up all windows and close the moon roof by putting the key into the door and turning and holding the key into the lock position until all windows and moon roof are closed. Mercedes Benz was WAY ahead of it's time!

Even at only 77K miles you can see the S class always had the issue with the back sagging or ass dragging. If it is not an issue with the springs then it would likely be the rubber suspension bushings that just have usable life span and would require replacement. Lovely car.
It's either THIS, or the 4-door 1994 AMG W124 Hammer Mercedes Benz, for me. Or both! I want an S600. I do want one, a white one, between the years of 1995 and 99. If it has to go to 2000, I guess twist my arm, if it still looks the same but.. there we go
Very very expensive and sometimes almost impossible to fix if God forbid when ECU goes wrong like the one gone with my 1997 CL420 with smaller mileage than this car and 4 years later still waiting for autoelectrician to figure out the right code that somehow escaped since UK Mercedes were not interested to help and said they don't have the data on these vehicles because they're too old Yes that's Mercedes customer care for you for their product of 1997 These cars are lovely to own and drive until your nightmare begins with electronics go wrong
If I had the money of course I’d buy it, in a heart beat. But I’d like to see a 1998 final production s600, or AMG version. Then I’d take to one of those detail guys on RU-vid and then have BRABUS CLASSIC restore it to factory “settings “, lol !! Zero miles !!
Зачем листву и бампера повесили от рестайлинга на дорестайлинговую машину? 👀 И Левон зеркало стоит то ли китайское,то ли от машины без автозатемнения зеркал.а W140 без автозатемнения зеркал не было,а это значит,что либо китайское зеркало стоит слева,либо оригинальное,но тогда от машины с правым рулём,потому,что с затемнением идут два зеркала,салонное и водительское.а значит оригинальное левое зеркало без затемнения может быть только от праворульные машины 🤷🏻♂️.внешнее зеркало с затемнением имеет по краям со всех сторон выдающийся пластиковый обод,в отличии от зеркала без затемнения,поэтому сразу видно с затемнением зеркало или нет.в оригинале должно быть на машине с левым рулём левое зеркало с ободом,а правое без обода.а салонное зеркало имеет спереди,на самом полотне зеркала, и сзади,в пластмассовом корпусе,круглые сенсоры.также салонное зеркало не имеет снизу ручки отщёлкивание вперёд-назад,которая используется на зеркале без автозатемнения для предотвращения ослепления фарами сзади идущего автомобиля. А,в целом,машина просто огонь!и мотор М120 Е60-это легенда просто!и состояние автомобиля вызывает уважение к владельцу!и ещё этот авто имеет опцию изменяемой жёсткости амортизаторов(кнопка над кнопкой подогрева сиденья пассажира),там переключение между позициями комфортная езда и более спортивная езда.довольно редкая опция и амортизаторы,соответственно,будут только оригинал с такой функцией и будут стоить денег(конечно не так,как пневмо-стойки от,например.W220,но дороже обычных амортизаторов),и если владелец заморачивается и ставит нужные стойки,то ему двойное уважение 🤣👍🏻
