It's an SS-III actually. It has the non-turbo Beams engine (one generation before the Altezza got that engine). It was only only sold for a couple of years at the end of the ST200 series. It's fantastic but sadly will not make an appearance on the channel.

Apparently these were sold in Europe as well, but I didn't even know until I looked it up, because I've never seen one in real life before. I knew it looked familiar somehow, but it turns out there's a Hyundai model based on this car, the Starex, and that's the only version I saw. It's a pity that these are so rare, because they're way cooler than any VW Transporter from its time

They were sold in plenty of places but the 4x4 versions were mainly sold in Japan Where I live, The Philippines, they imported them and converted them to LHD from RHD but they sometimes have a reputation for being unreliable due to parts and shit

Used to be 150,000 yen for a good one. Now 800,000 yen for the same condition. It's weird how times change.

Probably because of the van life craze from the past years why the price of these machines buffed up. These Delica's are very dependable not to mention there is a 4WD diesel variant which we had growing up back in the 90s.
