SR-71 was more limited--- but the SMZ is the better looking of the two. SR-71 has that 'road runner' rear wing

I just got a 1990 300ZX Fairlady JDM RHD. Engine ia strong, but needs some body work after previous owner hit a deer and it was broken into amd all aftermarket guages were stolen along with the in cab stand alone ECU. Been sitting for 11 years wirh 82,000 km. Im looking forward to bringing it back to life. This was my #2 car in high school, behind the Supra, but no chance I can afford the Supra!!

Congrats dude especially with that mileage. I also own a 90' and even with 212,000km the engine feels great. My car also needs some cosmetic work (split bumper and some clearcoat peel) but it is such a special car. Everybody wants a Supra or Skyline and these cars still sit kind of underappreciated. In my eye a hidden gem. Hope you enjoy yours as much as I do! Also the early cars 89' and 90' had some weird options that phased out in the later cars which make them a bit unique.

Z32 is the classic-- Mine is pearl silver metallic white with all of the components of a SMZ. Updated it in 95... My wife keeps asking me to sell it--- Um--Negative.

As a big guy, imagine my surprise to see that the 2+2 seating configuration for the amazing 300 zx TT's was not marketed in America!!! Haha From memory, the 2+2 configuration was created to satisfy the American market!!! As this zx engine can be easily boosted up to 600 plus horsepower & can still be a daily driver, I can imagine the 300zx 2+2 TT sales would have been 'off the chart' . Especailly back in the 90's. That Nissan marketing mistake, deciding not to market 300 zx TT 2+2's in America is almost as bad as Leyland stopping E type Jaguar sales while they still had 12 months production orders to complete. At least Leyland's 'stupid' decision allowed Datsun to create the 240zx for us. ha ha
