Shame that Skoda Felicia has been off the road since 2012 with a mere 57k miles and an advisory for slightly corroded brake pipes and a rear tyre being slightly perished. I reckon the scrappage scheme had something to do with it like most of these cars if it wasn't due to rust.
She may have said it in a super lawyer-like way, but all she really said was "We can only work with the information available to us, and we didn't receive access to the info in that man's story until after he had bought it due to the corruption of the insurance companies and government." I know it's annoying when people try to speak like robots, but that's not a good enough reason to HATE someone. Sounds like your hatred really stems from your inability to learn new words, or understand complicated sentence structures.
Jeremy Clarkson and his usual unverified nonsense. Skoda was in fact a profitable business when owned by the Czech state. When VW bought them, they were making a loss but able to get by with state subsidies thanks to it being part owned by the government of Lower Saxony.
What a bore Top Gear was in those days. Only half an hour and 20 minutes of it was taken up with Quentin Wilson standing in front of a digger pontificating about insurance, while the rest of it was Clarkson being an arse. A hundred RU-vid car channels do this a million times better now thank goodness. When I watched Top Gear as a kid it make me so cross because it seemed a wasted opportunity,

The earlier streamlined ones were interesting and are now appreciating fast - but this was just a warmed-up version of something that was outdated by the time it had been designed.
The sad reality though is that the Automakers can come up with mind blowing concepts like that one, but the ones that move forward are the worst ones like the Aztec which never should have existed in the first place. Then there was the prowler. Awesome Idea to bring back a 30's style roadster but I believe it failed because they chose a 6 instead of an 8 under the hood. But then again that was the 90's when Chrysler chose not to have V8 Powered cars anymore until about 2004. Only their trucks and vans had V8's in the 90's.
