The North Melbourne Kangaroos took on Sydney in the 1996 Centenary Grand Final, relive the best moments with the extended highlights as the Roos claim their fourth premiership.
Was Ian Fairley the story of NMFC’s 96 premiership? The oldest player in the team in his last game, having done all the hard yards in 1980s for a final reward. Gold.
I miss the good old days, not just because North were a dominant club but the way the game was played ,unlike the shit show that passes for footy today.
@Hell O Free flowing, not all 40 players in one 50 metre arc, no one kicking backwards, none of this stupid STAND yelled out at every mark/free, genuine 1 on 1 contests= carey v jackovich etc, players actually kicking the ball straight instead of being in front of goal and turning sideways and kicking "round the corner", need I go on?
1:33 Schwass punching Luff in the face was actually an important moment. Luff had kicked several goals and Schwass roughed him up a treat. He had no impact after that.
