I know there's a lot of crossover parts between the models but there needs to be more of these videos of the older sleds. Thanks for doing this one because it's at least within a couple years of the sled I need to change the track on. I did have to giggle though... that the track you're putting on is the same condition of the track I'm taking off! You have fray lines crossing the entire track, which is a crack, and each of us to decide whether or not it's "okay". I have additional chunks missing so you'll probably buy more time with yours. Great video though! I'm so grateful you took the time to make it and publish it to help the rest of us shade-tree enthusiasts! Ride on brother!
Nice job I wish I had all that help when I do mine it's just me and a ratchet strap. I would recommend replacing those bearings when you had the drive shaft out.
Hey if I’m having cog/ track alignment issues with the cogs shifting off of the lugs on the track is that a sign it needs shaft bearings? It’s like the cogs with shift about a half inch off and not engage the track lugs.
Question if I’m having issues with the cogs becoming out of alignment with the track is it the driveshaft bearings? Is this process the same to do the bearings?
It is very similar to this . If you have reverse there is lots more gears in the chaincase to becarful with and washers . Make sure you use blue locktite on all the bolts and touque them to spec
