If you squint, the overall design looks similar to a shark. I imagine this is quite aerodynamic. Similar to my ‘95 Caprice, surprisingly gets decent mileage as long as you are easy on the acceleration. Floats effortlessly down the road at 100. I reckon this car is quite the highway cruiser and certainly “rare” amongst modern day vehicles
Glad to hear you are helping to keep these beauties on the road. It takes a lot of patience to restore a car, even more to make it all the way to my bonus clip!
@@MostlyBuicks I live in Europe nobody knows what kind of a car is. Not even mechanics. It’s a head turner, I never let the Riv unintended on the parking lot.. Just enjoying the car in this short life! Keep up the good work! 💫
My thoughts exactly. I do not know the particular model, but I see a Jag around here that looks so much like these Rivieras. In fact I think this Riviera came BEFORE the Jaguar that looks like this.
@@MostlyBuicksthats true, Bill Porter Buick advance studio designer CEO acknowledged that. Inspiration came from “50 fastback Buicks. Before jaguar came with the similar styling.
I can only imagine a new watcher seeing this video and you for the first time. They must be thinking that your cheese has slid off of the cracker 🤣 But a seasoned viewer familiar with Bill from Curious Cars and Anthony from Specialty Motor Cars makes you quite normal
Did you buy it from Anthony of Specialty Motor Cars Sir...? I bought a Beautiful 2007 Lincoln Town car from him, the Car is GORGEOUS, he is AMAZING and gets the BEST cars man.
Rivieras have never been a sportcar. They have been marketed as a personal luxury car. I always get a lot of hate whenever I post a video on these 1995-99 Rivieras. I am used to it.
@@MostlyBuicksno Wory. Europeans love it!!! I just want to let you know! It’s a searing beautiful design! I wish I had more of them like a 1998 model. They are the best.
