In a low scoring affair " Air McNair Airlines " offense co pilot Eddie George would take off with his 100 yard 6th game and 32 carries 122 rushing yards and 1 TD ( 66 yards in 1st half ) putting them up 7-0 with his 7th rushing TD of the year, now 10-3 Tyrone Wheatley dodging Oilers with a good run but Danny Kanell throws to Amani Toomer but he drops its then Kanell feels the pressure of the Oilers blitz as he sacked then being late Kanell throwns to the wrong jersey of the Oilers as Mcnair and Kanell show rescpect to each other as the Tennnesse Oilers get thier 1st win over the Giants all together going back to the Houston Oilers days, as the Giants winning streak is snapped its looking bright for the Giants in 1997. Class Note : Still low attendence, game blacked out locally on TV in the Tennessee areas unless you had the Ticket but nobody cared about the Oilers anymore after Warren Moon got traded and Bud Adams dismantled the team, but after that before 1999, they had young talent brewing of what would be things to come in 1999 into 2000's.
