A special thanks goes out to MGM Resorts for de-theming and ruining every single fun, unique, and captivating thing they ever had in their resorts. Vegas' boring decline couldn't have happened without you.
And that’s the unfortunate theme nowadays with Vegas. It’s nothing but soulless “modern contemporary” styles that cater to soulless modern millennials and to GenZ crowds that think nothing but sex and alcohol in their lives
I've went to las vegas 1 year ago first time and we stayed at excalibur and I know it has been changed since there's no dragon shows like that before there's only merlin house
@@MistStream_wcue_ Its fully intact and still has a head. It's just sitting behind the gate now collecting dust and rotting away 😔 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-h0bTaF-gBQg.html
Yeah, they could put out an impressive show with the latest technology but corporations are running the resort operations and I'm sure they wouldn't see the return on investment for this type of free show. Now with the Raiders and Golden Knights stadiums just a few blocks away, they have all the traffic they need.
I'm sure it was due to the lack of awe factor. Most people would rather see the volcano at the Mirage or the fountains at the Bellagio. I thought it was kind of cool as a free attraction.
It wasn't much of a show but it was something to do when you burned through your bankroll for the evening. To your point, it was shut down about 20 years ago so yeah, it wasn't great but for 1997, it wasn't the worst thing out there.
