In honor of my 200th video, I thought I would go back and make a better copy of a classic. Here is the 97 OSU game with much more footage than the copy I made 2 years ago. Split into 2 parts.

God Bless Keith Jackson was the best announcer ever. He could set up a game at the opening and carry a game throughout. Just the best

In my 30 + years of attending Michigan Football games, this was BY FAR, the BEST Michigan regular season game I have EVER been to!!! I will never forget the game, the crowd, getting onto the field after the game. It TOTALLY was the BEST!

Thank you WolverineHistorian for putting this up. Even though I was only two and my family had not moved to Ann Arbor yet, Today I still feel proud of the wolverines in their glory days as #1, and I hope this season we can regain some of our old glory with a new generation of players and coaches on the team. GO BLUE!!!!

Thanks, WH! So many things to like about this video: Keith Jackson (love how he just let the moment unfold after woodson's return) The Crowd (SO loud during that punt return. "Boston, Boston", "Heisman!") That Ohio State was clearly rattled after the first TD. Chris freaking Floyd.

This is simply the best college football defense I ever watched. There have been many, but for their time I never saw a better one.

For anyone who doesn't know: Michigan split the title with Nebraska because Tennessee's coach voted UM something like 7th or 8th in the poll out of spite because Woodson won the Heisman instead of Peyton Manning. Also the fact that Purdue was the only other team to win their Bowl game in the conference didn't help.

Yea the sunset photo! The one where the photographer forgot to close the gate he used to walk up the stairs. In mine it appears like a football painted over some logo? Near the 30. I can't find any replays of it and it's driving me crazy.

I know Michigan over the years have never painted anything on their field except maybe a block M on the 50. But.. I have a poster of the empty stadium pre 1998 and there's some type of logo painted on the 30 yard lines. I can't make out what it is? Can anyone recall?

But the intros are cool because they represent the time and graphics of the era. I often find them more interesting than than the game highlights which can get repetitive in some of the less significant games. I'm glad the intro is included here because it is not on the official Michigan Beat Ohio State dvd. But yeah, some of the overhyped ones today with a lousy band are pretty forgettable.
