I still laugh that without the ACC refs they could barely score and that Dunn sat on the sidelines faking an injury rather than play in a National Championship game against their most hated rivals. Instead Dunn hid on the side lines like a punk ass bitch while fsu got dismantled without the ACC refs there to help them cheat! Classic GAME!
This was Florida Gators' 1st Ever National Championship in 1996 until Kim Possible, Ron Stoppable, Monique, Bonnie Rockwaller, Chuckie Finster's 12th Grade Senior Year in High School 2006-07, and Cody Anderson's Senior Year in High School 2008-09.
He was enrolled to UF out of HS on a full ride and redshirted that year. Even though Titus wasn't in this game he played for the Gators for four years after this.
I'm not saying FSU was the better team, or even as good, despite the win at Doak. But having Rock Preston flunk out was a blow, and then having Dunn and many of the other players sick with the flu didn't help. Without those two setbacks, it would have been a better game.
There is that one moment when you can see on Bobby Bowdens face that he realizes, probably for the first time ever that the ref's are not going to cheat for him and you can see the soul in his eyes die. - He knew he did not belong in this game and when he realized no one was coming to help cheat for him you can see the defeat in his eyes.
not counting the 2 bowl games in my opinion Florida should have went 6-4 against Florida state in the 90's Florida won in 1991, 1995, 1997 the should have won in 1994, 1996, & 1999

More importantly, it was obviously a tremendous beatdown by Florida in a revenge game, and I should've led with that in my prior message.
You’re right. You choked against Texas and my Noles had to play UF in the Mulligan Title game. Total garbage year. Should’ve never had to play UF twice for a title game. Beat a team them 3 weeks later you gotta play them again on astroturf. Gator fans are too incompetent to realize they got a second chance miracle. Ohio State had to also beat ASU in a minute for them to be considered champs. Luckiest garbage I’ve ever seen. FSU had players throwing up on the sideline and out of the game from a stomach bug.

Wrong. Only lose UF had was to FSU and that's cause FSU got away with a lot of bullshit late hits and penalties the whole game. UF proved in this game they were the better team by far

This game was pathetic, without the ACC refs helping FSU cheat they are beaten like red-headed stepchildren. Dunn faked injuries because he was so afraid to play in a game without ACC refs helping him cheat, he moped up and down the sideline like a scared bitch. The Gators opened a can of whoop ass and you can see Bobby Bowden's face when he realizes he cannot cheat his way to a win and dies inside.
