Bambi. Acknowledged by generations of moviegoers as one of *the* greatest Disney masterpieces ever produced. This extraordinary movie miracle is most fondly remembered as Walt Disney's favorite picture. The simple, heartwarming story of the newborn "prince of the forest" reflects the universal joy in us all as we discover the wonders of life and the beauty of nature through the eyes of Bambi and his friends, the bashful Flower and the fun-loving Thumper. This timeless tale is yours to own on video.

Set amid the majestic beauty of the Serengeti, Disney's award-winning smash hit The Lion King reigns supreme as animation's greatest crowning achievement. It tells the heartwarming story of Simba, a naive and curious lion cub, who "just can't wait to be king." Through the help of his friends, he overcomes tragedy, learns the meaning of love, and discovers his true destiny in the "circle of life." With award-winning songs by Elton John and Tim Rice, The Lion King is "no less than perfection" (N.Y. Daily News)!
I remember when McDonald's came out with these in kids' meals. I also remember when they had the 101 Dalmatian ornaments and snow globes. Those were awesome :)
FFTR, thank you so much for this. This video was one of the ones I was waiting for for a while now! I love all of your videos, but the ones that take me back to when I was about 5 years old like this one are just magical. I no longer possess the few toys from this set that I used to have back in the day in '97, but man, I loved this. Thank you! Keep those oldies comin' ! - Anthony

I wish McDonald's happy meal toys were like this nowadays. Now they all have a firing, sound, or light gimmick. The only thing McDonald's does right with the toys these days are Hot Wheels cars and the occasional toy here and there. There was once a time where kids didn't need lights or sounds to have fun with a toy. Those days seemed to have ended around 8 years ago. Maybe even 10 years ago. I wish McDonald's did a "classics" line of toys at least once a year that revisited popular happy meal toys from past years.
Caleb Firedragon ikr I have to agree toys back then we're simple and cool even if I wasn't born in the 90s but when I see these toys I think why can't McDonalds do more neutral game
Sorry if I am super late, but I choose Bambi. I’ve always loved Bambi! Such a classic! I was actually inspired to create my own story about Bambi’s children in Ultimate Forest Simulator, my favorite app on my phone. However, the Bambi in my app hadn’t found Faline yet. 😥 Wish me luck on making my own Bambi story! 🦌
I remember when they had this Happy Meal promotion going on, I got a Happy Meal, desperate to get the Woody toy...and by sheer luck, I did get Woody in my Happy Meal!
Great review. These toys are so much fun. Wish McDonald's had toys love like these now a days. It also brings me back to my childhood! Thanks for sharing!
Disney's 27th full-length animated masterpiece is "Oliver" with a twist - artfully blending big city adventure, lovable characters, and cool, contemporary songs (featuring Billy Joel, Huey Lewis and Bette Midler). Oliver, an adorable orphaned kitten, and his friends, a hilarious pack of pickpocket pooches, band together to help a lonely rich girl in danger! Oliver & Company is "charming, funny, musical and thrilling," says ABC-TV - and so will you!
So surprised to see Tigger instead of Pooh. I also see that in the second line instead of Alladin they did one of the direct to video sequels. Which is undeniably even weirder.

The Toy Story one is my favorite one in the whole set. Billy Joel actually was the voice of Dodger in Oliver and Company. He also sang on the soundtrack.
I may have had Simba unless it was just a similar figure from a toy store. But man I would really want Woody. I know I had Aladdin and Robin Hood from the other set when I was a kid.
I remember those movies to I still cry at the one scene in Bambi where his mother dies I was born January 1st 1990 I remember what all those movies came out
Great review. I saw the same set done by Lucky Penny Shop. But I don't think LPS Dave showed the Under 3 toy. Either way, this is still a great looking set.
I love watching these. Makes me so nostalgic. Only thing is the movie the three Caballeros. Caballeros is pronounced with the double l as a y. So it's cab-ah-yeh-ros. 💜🖤💜🖤
