Ha, I was just talking to a friend about "check engine light" and "codes". I stream on RU-vid a lot and when I opened up RU-vid the first video recommended was this video. I own a 2004 Cadillac SLS with some code warnings, so this video was very helpful - Thank You! As a side note> This is evidence to me our smartphones are definitely listening/spying on us.
Best video ever! Thanks! I had a persistent Check Coolant Level message and this was the only way to fix it. It wasn't a sensor/float issue either. I tried jumping the sensor connections and was thinking it was a wiring issue since that didn't work - but this here - oh yeah - worked perfect. Thanks a lot!
My 2000 Seville STS has a constantly on Security light. It also has a "service theft system" message. The car starts and runs just fine. One of the original keys has stopped working. The dealer wants almost $600 for a theft module to "try and see if that will fix the problem" with no guarantee.
