Marino is right about one thing. That you can't get out of the business when you're already in it. Because I will say what Jason said years later. That you can't get out of the business to prove it that you're clean. Because Sonny is drunk with power and Jason isn't. Because with Jason it's always business as usual and never personal. Because Sonny's emotions always clouds his judgment because it's always personal with Sonny and he doesn't think clearly at all. Because Jason is pro business and Sonny isn't and that's why.
Robin knew Jason was in the mob. He told her he could not tell her his business. She told him she accepted it and said she trusted him. This was work so why should he tell her?
I liked seeing Jason talking to Michael in scenes they looked so sweet, cute and sometimes funny with robin,Sonny to.you think with the parents that robin has that she would have understood Jason lifestyle and the business with Sonny all the dangers things it in tells making sacrifices to be with Jason but he to made some and it killed him to do them but he did with robin,Michael then years later for liz, jake who he loved a lot
This is why I hate Robin because she underrestimates Jason. Because she's always afraid for Jason instead of letting Jason do whatever he wants. Because it's not right for Robin to use Jason to get what she wants. Because that's why Jason should take charge of everything instead of letting Robin telling him what to do and what not to do.
It says a lot about Jason love for Robin he left the mob so her and Michael would be safe. He didn't discuss it with anyone he just did what was best for them. Robin always bring out the best in him. Sam just go along to get along that isn't true love. True love always encourage you to do the right thing whether you listen or not.
True love is about acceptance, understanding and no judgements. It's about taking the other person exactly as they are, the good, the bad and the in between. True love is about unconditional support, brutal honesty and implicitly trusting one another. We don't doubt that Jason loved Robin unconditionally. The problem was that she didn't love him the same way he loved her. Robin's love for Jason came with unspoken conditions, expectations and standards that she didn't bother to disclose or discuss with him when she went back to him. Especially, the unspoken conditions that had to do with Carly and everything related to his job that one day she seemed to accept and here she decided that he looked so cold that she doesn't even know him, so which one is it? Either she accepted him or not. That's not the definition of true love. Furthermore, the person that loves you would never try to change you into something or someone that you are not because by trying to change someone is not an act of love. To the contrary, is an act of selfishness. One thing is to encourage and quite another is to keep insisting or to try to dictate or control someone's behavior by handing out ultimatums or taking drastic actions to emotionally manipulate the other person. Like for example, go to Paris or making declarations of acceptance without disclosing all the conditions of said acceptance or revealing a secret that she was trusted with just to be vindictive and to be proven right. Those are the actions that Robin took by her own volition. That's not true love. Actually, far from it. Finally, true love has nothing to do with doing what's right or moral or legal because no one has the right to tell another person how to live and what standard of ethics , moral code and behavior to follow that is a very personal choice and judgement call. True love has to do with two people knowing everything about one another the pretty parts and the ugliest ones and still accepting each other just as they are without any judgements. The other stuff is for each person to figure out by themselves. Let's remember that before people enter into a relationship they supposed to get to know one another and decide what they are willing to accept, to put up with, what lines they are willing to cross and they establish their boundaries. All of that supposed to happen before the love becomes a factor. Blessed be!
This is what I hate about all the women in Jason's life (except Sam) said that they can accept his life and that they will never try n change him, but than they do. And try and make him feel guilty for being who he always been.
After the attempt on Robin's life, did she try to make him feel guilty about what he does? She is the only one that continued to have faith in his ability to protect her. Robin's speech when Jason comes back safe also proves that her true character would never betray him like the writers wrote. There was a better way to exit her character than the way it was done. It should have been done in a way to respect and cherish the relationship these two had.
@@CCLark-pk7ob I agree with you and I have always said and will always say Jason and Sonny would never treat Robin with such disrespect and pick a person like Carly and her baby over Robin. GH new writers had and has no clue about these two actors and what they mean too each other.
@@trish72010Yes Jason did choose Carly and Michael over robin. You people make up your own storylines instead of telling what actually happened. That's ridiculous and delusional!
