It's my Jeep so I'll do whatever I want to it. I bought the 5.9 grille for $100 from a dude who owned a Platinum 5.9 Jeep and didn't know about it or care about it. On top of the 5.9 grille, my heads/cam 5.2 ZJ also has the 5.9 hood, 5.9 ultrastars as extra wheels, 5.9 rear sound bar, and 5.9 leather wrapped shifter handles. It deserves the 5.9 grille, it's faster than most 5.9 Jeeps and it fits a built V8 ZJ like it's right at home.
ibbi270 The 5.2 would smoke the 5.9 without question. It has way better top end power because of the heads and cam. If I did heads and cam on the 5.9 then the tables would turn and the 5.9 would win.
I went to Kooks old facility in Bay Shore, New York in early 2009 and had them custom fabricated. Shortly after that they moved their facility to Statesville, North Carolina.They are the only set of long tube headers ever made for a ZJ.
