Worked like a charm. Did not have to remove but the one no. 15 torx bit screw, to get the part to slide off. Peeling off the plastic sheet cover was the hard part.
Mine was not locking. If yours is not unlocking, then there is a release lever from inside. Pop open the small plastic access door and you will find a release lever to lift. That will unlock it. The access door is visible in the beginning to 0.37 secs in my video, the release lever is visible around 8:30 secs of the video.
@@chandlernoble8722 Not sure what you mean by the rod part. If the motor is bad, it will sound bad as you see in my video. Usually replacing the motor fixes these locks and they are cheap.
