This 1999 C230 Kompressor w202 is one of the most reliable cars I have ever seen. I have known this car since it was brand new 20 years ago. Yes 20 years ago! This car has over 300k miles now and is currently my daily driver. After so many years on the road my C230 literally still drives like it is new! There are a lot of cosmetic issues but all the bits that matter are tip top! I love this car!!

I love this video! I own a 99' w202 kompressor, its my daily driver and it gets a lot of attention.... Its a shame they aren't more popular, its a rear-wheel drive SUPERCHARGED 4 cylinder! You really can't ask for much more☺

I had the 99’ c230 kompressor and I fell in love with it! Totaled it and bought the 00’ c230 kompressor the same day. Crazy how ppl sell it for under $1,500 but I’m glad they do.

@@41fivin_sam72 yeah I got mine in Branford Fl. For 1400$ lol, it drives great, its silver, I want to black out all the chrome and throw some black powder-coated (or whatever is best paint) hammers on it

It may have lived a rough life, but dang that's a perfect budget benz! The 230 kompressor is surprisingly reliable actually, so don't be surprised if it runs a few hundred thousand miles more ;)

I'm so happy I found you guys and this video. I have a 1999 Compressor (176,000 miles) and I still LOVE my car! It is amazing. I'm trying to fix it up a bit too. I'm even thinking of putting nav/safety system to bring it up to date if that's possible?(I'm not a mechanic:). You rock - though thanks for sharing the love.

I drive a 2000 c230 Mercedes Kompressor straight piped from the cats back, sounds mazing and has loud pops on decel. I love the wheels you got for yours! Might have to get some for my own.

Nice! My FIL has a 2000 w202 kompressor that's been garaged all its life with only 96k miles(10 miles round-trip to work for them)! They've been thinking about getting rid of it but I'm considering just buying it and keeping it in the family.

I love this car for so many reasons! It is reliable, fun, economical, and just well sorted overall! It is like a loyal old dog and the older this car gets the more I love it.

Thank you The C230 is an amazing bang for the buck! I am about to do some PM stuff on mine and lower it. I am having a hard time finding parts for mine tho that aren't ridiculously priced. I have been looking for a set of MONOBLOCKS and they are mostly priced at 3 times the value of my car smh.

What have you done to get it to ride so good and smooth? The Sensen sport shocks I have now are quite firm at low speeds though they do make for a tight car on the highway.

IDK mine always rode good on the factory wheels. I recently put mono blocks on it and now the ride isn't that great at all.

Jase Wardo yes they are super fun cars! I daily mine at the moment. I have been having a bit of trouble finding parts for it tho. I’m looking for a set of monoblocks for a good price 🤣🤣🤣 wish me luck. I’m also trying to find a replacement rear bumper..... for cheap. I don’t want to dump a bunch of money into this car with over 300k miles so it’s been a bit more challenging then I expected it to be, Finding parts have proven difficult. This car is very fun to sling around tho and it rides so good!

I wish!!!!! I still don’t know what to do with this car. This project is currently on the back burner again. I wanted to get the trunk fixed and paint the car but the estimates were insane.

@@KRTLyfe I heard about some custom paint and body shops in gwinnett and marietta... I was recently quoted $4k for a front end replacement... for a fender bender... I was tempted to chuck it.

@@bihmthethird SMH, I know the feeling. I’m my case the entire car is probably only worth $700.00 and They want $2800.00 to paint it and fix the trunk! IDK what to do cause the car still runs great but if i fix it and something happens. It will be a hell of a time getting insurance to fork up the difference.

I still have mine, my father is using it at the moment which is why I haven’t made any updates on this project. It was very difficult to find the parts I wanted to use in the states. So this project is on hold at the time being.

kool. i got mine with 151000, one owner car.I drove it 26 days and the key would not turn, basically , make a long story short had to change the ignition which cost me 1700. which included new fab key and cluster gauge. I put high performance coils,wires,ngk plugs and mass air flow sensor. Ill tell you this. ive owned alot of American musle and none of them were as fun as the way this little bitch it. couldnt be happier with its performance. gas is the best. even though you gotta pay more for 93, itb makes up with not going to the pumps half as much. since i work at a parts store parts were cheap. paid with upgrades a total 0f 3800 hope yours uning strong
